Google earth

I love it. I’ve spent hours checking out places of interest, namely airports. I’ve always been fascinated by any of the means of transport and especially by aeroplanes and ships. Now I’m on a quest to map atleast one airport in every country of the world and I’ve located quite a few already. So I can tell you that heathrow is mad busy; there are actually planes lining up one behind the other in order to take off. Dubai international is boring and still under construction, O’Hare is very unique and the Hyderabad airport runway is the only straight line in the whole city and it’s a fifth of it’s size but the most beautiful, by far, is King Khalid Airport is Riyadh. Believe me not does thou? Have a look.
I also like Istanbul airport a lot because of it’s location. Landing there is brilliant because the approach is over water and then suddenly you hit a row of green trees and then a highway and as soon as you clear it you’re on the runway. Simply brilliant.
Finding some of the airports has been quite a challege. I’ve had to google up local maps, locate the airport there and try to figure out where they fit on the globe. What makes it worse is that I’m on a 64kbps connection and it takes ages for even a faint outline of the roads and built up areas to load.
Here are some interesting images I’d like to share…
This is Masjid Ainani where Hani al Refai leads.
This is Masjid Jufalli and what is known as chop chop square. Since I haven’t actually seen a real beheading I’m not sure where they actually chop the head off. Is it at no. 2 or 3? I’m leaning towards 2.
And this is a Masjid on the beach, I don’t know it’s name or anything else about it except that you get an exceptional view from it’s courtyard.
Number 1 is my college, 2 is Buhairat city; a 2 billion $ project that went to the dogs, 3 is a crater you have to avoid when trying to make it to the beach and 4 is the red sea. ![]()
I know the crater doesn’t look that big so that’s why I’ve attatched another image.
See? The crater’s even bigger than my college.
P.S - Please wait for the images to load

I have never seen anything that would look so disgusting. Why do people publish stuff like that? I don’t understand them!
